The Day’s Itinerary
Your journey kicks off at our Blackheath office, where we’ll outfit you with all the necessary gear, including wetsuits for the afternoon’s canyoning. After gathering equipment and briefing you on the day’s plan, we’ll head to an abseiling site chosen specifically for your group’s experience level and interests. We have many sites to choose from, with various heights and challenges- there is something appropriate for all skill levels!
Custom Abseil Session
We offer a range of abseil heights and challenges to suit everyone in your group. Want to build on your skills? Our instructors are here to provide expert guidance and in-depth instruction, making sure you feel confident and prepared..
Lunch with Altitude
After a morning of adventure, we’ll break for lunch. You’ll enjoy your personally selected meal from Altitude Deli’s extensive menu, known for its hearty options that meet all dietary requirements—perfect fuel for an afternoon of canyoning.
Into the Grand Canyon
After lunch, we’ll hike along one of the area’s most scenic tracks, descending into the majestic Grand Canyon. Once we reach the base of this deep gorge, we’ll gear up and tackle a 20-metre abseil, leading directly into the depths of this awe-inspiring canyon.
Exploring the Canyon
From the base of the abseil, we’ll wade, scramble, and swim through the canyon’s towering rock walls and lush greenery, immersing you in a landscape that’s both humbling and beautiful.
Ascent & Epic Views
The adventure concludes with a steep but rewarding hike out of the canyon, leading to a breathtaking lookout over the Grose Valley—a landmark of Australian wilderness conservation. After soaking in the views, we’ll return to the car park and wrap up our day back at the office.
