Outdoor Leadership and Nationally Accredited Training with BMCS

Looking to excel in Outdoor Leadership? Blue Mountains Climbing School (BMCS) offers Nationally Accredited Training that prepares you to be a confident and capable guide. In partnership with our RTO, Klepper, we deliver high-quality courses designed to meet industry standards and go beyond technical skills.

Our focus is on creating well-rounded guides. Outdoor Leadership is not just about ropework—it’s about decision-making, risk management, and delivering exceptional client experiences. With decades of experience in guiding and teaching, our team brings a fresh and effective approach to training.

Experienced Teachers and Tailored Training Our teachers are seasoned guides with years of practical and teaching experience in the VET sector. Many hold high-level international qualifications, giving you access to a wealth of knowledge and skills. At BMCS, we prioritise skill development over fast paced schedules. This approach ensures our students grow into adaptable, capable Outdoor Leaders.

We are initially focusing on roping electives, ideal for those aiming to deliver rope-based experiences. We offer private courses tailored for employers and small groups of three or more. This allows us to customise the training to meet your workplace needs and goals.

Why Choose BMCS for Outdoor Leadership? BMCS stands out with its student-focused teaching and emphasis on guiding skills. Our Nationally Accredited Training gives students the tools to make sound decisions and thrive in challenging environments. Whether you’re starting your career or enhancing your skills, BMCS can take you further.
