Introduction to Outdoor Climbing

Experience the fun, excitement and challenge of outdoor rock climbing in the Blue Mountains: Australia’s world famous climbing destination.

Contrary to popular belief, rock climbing is more about balance, technique and control than physical strength or power. Come join our friendly, qualified instructors and experience the thrill of moving vertically on real rock, protected by a top-rope belay.

You will climb plenty of routes and receive feedback on your climbing technique to help you conserve energy and go further – you might even surprise yourself!  Throughout the day you will also learn the difference between top-rope climbing, leading, sport and trad, to inspire you with adventure ideas and help you decide whether you want to take your climbing further.
