Rob started climbing soon after high school, learning to climb trad in Squamish BC which got him totally hooked on it. One of his favourite places to climb is Dyurrite/ Mt Arapiles and he also loves spending time sport climbing in Nowra, trad climbing in the Wolgan Valley.
Rob also studied mechanical engineering at university, raced mountain bikes for 10 years getting to the level of racing the Enduro World Series in 2019
Rob made the decision in 2020 to pursue a career in the outdoors with the long term goal of becoming an IFMGA mountain guide. In winter he splits his love of rock with a fascination with Alpine climbing and skiing.
