Remote Area First Aid

Remote Area First Aid

Because trips don’t always run according to plan. This course is designed to help you feel more comfortable dealing with situations that are anything but!

With a focus on realistic, real time, scenarios carried out in the same places we recreate, work or explore in, this course is designed to leave you feeling more competent rather than just more qualified.

You can expect to be out in the dark, possibly cold and wet for at least part of the course. A bivy is also a strong possibility, pack for type 2 fun!

  • You will need to be comfortable undertaking simulated CPR as well as participating in several scenarios over the three days
  • There are no other pre-requisites, but your instructor will contact you before the course to chat about your experience, interests and aspirations to make sure this is the right course for you

Upcoming Course Dates
